बेअक्ल पुरखे azad nazm

पुरखे चढ़े रहते हैं
कंधों पर बेताल की तरह
सदियों बाद भी,
रीति रिवाज़ों और
परम्पराओं के नाम पर,
पर हम ढोते हैं उन्हें
जन्म से लेकर मृत्यु तक,
पूरी उम्र
बिना सवाल के कोई
दोहराते हैं वही
जो पीढ़ियाँ
करती आ रही हैं,
सालों साल
पुरखे बढ़ जाते हैं
पर श्राद्ध का कौर
उतना ही रहता है,
सब का पेट भर देता है,
सवाल की मनाही है
क्यूंकि ये कृतघ्नता होगी
पुरखों के खिलाफ़,
उन्होंने किया यही सब
बिना सवाल किये
तो तुम भी बंधुआ हो
वही सब करने को
वरना दीवारों पर टंगे
मूछों को ताव देते
तुम्हारे पुरखे
बेअक्ल घोषित हो जायेंगे।
