Seasons Of The Heart

Seasons Of The Heart short poem

I look at you
And don’t know why it’s getting’ cold
The way you smile at me
It seems like winter days
The breeze of hot summer blossoms
Smells like flakes of ice
Now, I don’t know how to decide
‘Coz freeze and burn collide.

I wanna know why
All the leaves kiss the ground in the fall
I wanna know why
Snow starts to fall on winter days
I wanna know why
Sometimes it rains on hot summer days
Could there be sunshine in the cold winter days?

I wanna reach out to you
But it seems you’re few miles away
I drew a path closer
But you build walls harder
I once found your love was a spring bloom with gold
But now, why could it be so cold?

I wanna know why
There could be thunder in the storm
I wanna know why
All the bees kiss the blossoms of the morning dew
But now I know why
I could still smile after all the pain
I wanna try to build snowman in the rain.
