Belly Laugh Again

Belly Laugh Again short poem

Laughter springs delight
Soar with twinkling eyes
Carefree in belly rattling frenzy
Each dimple feigning innocence
To collapse in deep crevice joy

Bathing in warmth its
Echoed resonance tireless
Soothing my furrowed brow
Dug out in times of trouble
Mined in deep pain
Now railed tracks of roller coasting speed
Fairground joy re-spun
As only seen by the young

Living for the circus moment
In the now
The balloon release
The buckling of tied ribbon
Life a surprise party crouching
Awaiting the next victim
Lions leaping as velvet comfort
No hint of menace

Those eyes again
Centre stage above the unbuttoned nose
Gaps in teeth, like darkened hallways
Puffing cheeks of bustling joy
Red blooming with campfire sheen
What great sport in your joyous sway

I want for nothing more this day.

Lets Start Over Again short poem

Yet another day without your smile… Don’t do this to me, wait for a while… Listen I miss you I can’t say this expressly… I didn’t mean things to turn out this way, so ugly… Don’t leave me in lurch,
