Cycle Of Life

Cycle Of Life long poem

Uploaded by Ramapriya Nr

I don’t know what life is all about
But I do know Life is bits and pieces
I knew not how I spent the infant days
I do have a dreamy sketch of my childhood
I have realised how awkward was I in my teens
I shudder to think of those tons of disappointments as adult
I wonder how I carried the burden of responsibilities post marriage
I now Live a certain and uneasy life in my ripe
But I do know each of the phases of Life had expiry date
I thank the almighty for sailing me through each of those phases without skipping any
I am convinced we move on in life charged if we change the phase of life within the expiry date
and I am damn sure we get struck and suffocated if we prolong the phase of life beyond the expiry date
different stages are like spokes of Life cycle and any missing spoke will be sure to imbalance the movement of life cycle

Once again a wonderful thought provoking poem on life and the cycle of life, how we take birth, grow up and soon its time for us to leave this world, yes life does have an expiry date but its for the one above us who decides when we leave this world, and we go on living till the final call comes, thanking God for each new morning which comes as a bliss our way, the lines ” and I am damn sure we get struck and suffocated if we prolong the phase of life beyond the expiry date” is very true this made me remember one of my best friend who has just turned 80 and he told me he just doesnt any will to live any longer….its becoming suffocating for him each day, vision failing, hearing failing, body weak, …i presume as long as we are healthy and hearty we dont think of death but once the body becomes weak and fragile…the thought of death comes very easily in our mind……..sorry to have drifted from the subject matter of the poem…….wonderful poem……regards
