Hail Motherland-Vande Matram !

Hail Motherland Vande Matram ! short poem

Uploaded by Abhinav Saxena

” The ancient sages solicited from
Almighty to be born again ‘here’,

The Buddha got ‘Buddhahood’
Only in serene landscape of ‘here’,

The ‘world-conqueror’ ‘for all the world’
Returned as ‘Self-conqueror’ only from ‘here’,

Many ‘Sufis’ find their ‘Khanqah’
Seeking ‘aqiqah’ in the melting pot of ‘here’,

Such is the charm of ‘al-Hind’
Whoever comes ‘here’ called himself ‘Tuti-e-Hind’

The ‘Orientalists’ seek out all their queries
Only and only from ‘here’,

The ‘Westerners’ are finding their solace
From the spiritual truth of ‘here’,

The nature has bestowed different hues
At one location which is ‘here’,

My cerebrum becomes purblind
To decipher the charm of my ‘Hind’,

I am blissed to be born ‘here’ as a ‘Nationalist’
But my ‘Hind’ gave me a touch of ‘Catholic Internationalism’,

Hail my ‘Motherland’ &
Hail our ‘Earth’ -Vande Matram !!”
