Daughter short poem

Born today on unknown earth
I wrapped you up as my own
I take you on my lap as precious
You’re ignorant child for me
You’re God’s gift for me

How to make you a woman I think
How to create your future, I’m worried
What’s the path for you to show, I’m eager
What’s the devotion of love to express?

Which thoughts are right for you
Sufferings of me or my unfruitful ways
Narrow rituals or cultural concepts to put in you
Twenty-one century’s freedom prospects to guide
Or to show you the mixture of both

People here say a girl’s future’s unknown
But I say I give you the deeds of fulfilment
To make you a perfect person, my emotion
The existence of remembrances for you
The fate’s unknown but efforts are there

Rest is up to Gods.
