Fulfilment

Fulfilment short poem

The moment of loneliness
The feeling of devastation
The losing of hopes, all hopes..
The instance I felt cast away, purposeless..

There..! I see you, heading towards me,
Like a light that destroys darkness
And you light up my soul
No! You are not a mirage, that fooled people from times immemorial,
You are real.. Real as I am
You stretch your hands towards me, hands of hope, hands of inspiration

You ask me to tread a path, less traveled, arduous one
Yet assure me of happiness, the greatest happiness Man ever enjoyed.,

Here, take me to you..
I rest in your shoulders and I forget all the petty reasons that were cause of my sorrow.
Come.. Take me.. Take me to light..
I ask you one thing,
‘Oh my wretched world, lift me up so that I can take you with me’

For some, life is a search for truth. That's the struggle in their life. For me, I have found the truth. My struggle is to stand by it.
