Positivity short poem

Uploaded by Ramapriya Nr

People often complain that I have
more of a negative streak in me

I decided to try a positive streak

I laughed on seeing the dead
I smiled on seeing an injured
I was upbeat on somebody’s trauma
I was clapping on seeing some body drowning
I was jumping in joy when some body was writhing in pain
I kissed on the lip instead of the forehead of the dead

I tried everything to be always laughing
Thanks to you now I am here caged in a cell of NIMHANS
I now laugh UNinterrupted celebrating my positive streak

a wonderful thought provoking poem, the kind of positivity the poet tried to indulge in was in fact containing all the negativity in it, no matter the poet was caged in NIMHANS(National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Science)……
