Freedom short poem

Born are we unshackled
Flowing we are like rivers
Continuously moving ahead
In motion we are forever.

Cozy beds confine us not
We spring up to move out
To echoing meadows where
Peacocks dance, coo about.

Free they are, free we are
No limits can bind us
Float we like clouds
No winds can check us.

God sent us to the earth
With no prior conditions
We are the bond makers
Compromising with freedom.

It is not acceptable to us
Born free as we are
Why then we slobber
And forgo free fresh air.

Liberty it is that saves
Our childlike smiles
That is lost; we’re lost
Insignificant all the while.

We were born free
Free we ought to depart
Freely flying in the skies
Like a blithe skylark.
