Worthy Vs Worthless

Worthy Vs Worthless short poem

Uploaded by Ramapriya Nr

Brainy you are
Brainless I am

Happiness gifted to you
Sadness purchased by me

Tears of Joy flow from you
Tears of sorrow flood from me

You have reached the skies with resounding success
I have bitten the dust with miserable failure

You have unearthed Gold even in sand
I am under the illusion that sand is gold

You have seen heaven on earth
I see hell even beyond the earth

You believe my writings are the root cause for my destruction
I am under the illusion that my writing is my strength for elation.

a wonderful thought provoking poem…..penned in your unique style Ramapriya ji, success has always been a relative term, we often weigh our success or failure comparing with others, but no not everything is lost………….”your writings are your strength for elation” and its not an illusion its a fact……….so a person considered may be worthless for some and a person considered worthless may be most precious for others……..its a perception of the mind……….liked your poem

So, is this question even worth pondering upon, when you are who you are. Pretty much unchangeable. Yet we spend so much of our lives in this quest. Measuring up to others expectations.
