I Want To Stay

I Want To Stay short poem

Uploaded by Itisha Gupta

Like the little droplets humming down the shore,
and the yellow sparkles moving free to the core,
dismayed to unbind the lore since ages,
I want to stay amidst the phases.

Shrinking and shivering beneath your arms,
prime the relevance;
nothing as this warmth,
easing myself into your embrace,
you dropping your chin hushing against mine,
I want to stay at the clock ticking nine.

Little did i know where its gonna take,
I wish I could walk for a day and a night,
and find me at dawn, in that desolate place
with never the rut of a road in sight.

I wish I could walk till my blood should spout,
and drop me, never to stir again,
on a shore that is wide, for the tide is out,
and the weedy rocks are bare to the rain.

Little do I care which is the path I seek,
dainty of rose or
a fragile frame aging with miseries,
glimpses of those moments have kept me alive,
I want to stay and watch every november passing by…
