Death And Desire

Death And Desire short poem

when young
death is unheard

when grown up
death appears mystery

when at ripe age
death appears real

When health deteriorates
death knocks at your doors

You either surrender
or try to escape

when you surrender
you are no more

when you fight
death retracts

life is all about survival
fear of death takes your life away
desire to live takes death away

whilst you dare to live without fear
death dare not knock to snatch you away

another wonderful poem from a renowned poet……….how wonderful your observations are about life, death, relationships and almost all aspects of life, you seem to have written on almost every thing…………the number of poems speaks for it……….yes while death is certain……..life is not and hence life is to be lived every moment….we cannot defy death but yes we can live our life to its fullest………considering and counting each breath……..who knows for whom tomorrow wont be there………..

Death Of A Shadow

Death Of A Shadow short poem

This life has snubbed the bloom like a thick brown sac thrown on the sod. An octogenarian tries to slice the hope indulgingly to achieve immortality! Was it a virile snarl? A rose bud wrenched open in a fatherless home.
