The Mingling

The Mingling short poem

Often kith and kin
friends and relatives
kids and aged would
meet either in functions or
in funerals of the dead

The smiles, the laughs the Ecstasy
the warmth, the affection are
all there to be seen when
participating in functions

The tears, the agony, the pain,
the misery are all there to be seen
when attending the funerals

We hardly visualise the UN expected
little are we prepared to accept that
this moment of joy may turn out
to be next moment of sorrow

The reality of life is more pronounced
while in Agony than in Ecstasy

It is better to be wise not to feel
over joyed when in times of Ecstasy
and sorrowful when in times of Agony.

The balanced mind is De vine
while the unbalanced is Devil

@ramapriya_nr, a well-balanced view of life, reflective of years of seasoned living, mellowed experience, from accumulated knowledge over time. There is wisdom distilled from gainful existence. The youth will benefit from this.

Good recommendations, for balance, oftentimes difficult to heed in trying times, friends and family are always a source of calm and solace.
