Unknowing You

Knowing you was not difficult;
Coming closer to your heart
Was tough, but overcoming
My nervousness made it easy
Just like a deep breath
To calm a tempest within.

Unknowing you is impossible;
More so when you are around,
Resisting a stolen glance,
Just like it is not easy
For my life-giving breaths
To be held for eternity.

Now our hearts are apart
Like the morning and evening
Stars, who belong to a same
Vastness of the sky though,
But cannot meet for
Sun and moon in between.
