Fidelity

Fidelity short poem

It sneaks up from behind,
Distance closes in,
Like an unseeing hand
I know where I have been
Tangled hair and ash
Salty sweet night and day
Dusty journeys and wind
I know where I lay
This misty space fills with,
Sounds of hearts breaking
Somethings are inevitable
I know it’s of my own making.

I felt a certain melancholy ringing throughout the poem…but certainly a good work!

Courting Fidelity

Courting Fidelity short poem

It was a graceful exit with audacious idiocity. A cyclops was going for a dress disaster. Visitation of flesh, mars the beauty. Cheating starts between the pails of tears. I start hitting the planet. Let the bride sleep in fog.
