The Summer Of 2000

The Summer Of 2000 short poem

How will I forget the sunny day
when I was repeating the routine of usual Sunday
I was looking at the canopy from where the rays came
oh god !! I was feeling so lame
I could feel the rays around
I could hear the breeze that surround
when asked I said I want to be in bed
little did I know the day was about to change my trend
I somehow forced myself out with my family members
we were about to meet climbers
on the top when I reached
I felt that all the birds preached
there was this man who was standing
looking at me with smile broadening
after some fun we left him
waving a bye in a grim
soon I realized I am in love
so much I wanted him to be with me like a bunch of dove
after we left I never saw him again
till his funeral with so much pain
in his diary these were the words
I will always remember the girl
who was shining like a pearl
with the sunshine touching her
her eyes shined like sapphire
all I wanted was to have her love
like a bunch of dove
I still remember the summer
that changed my life forever
I wish I would have been brave
to let him know how much I did crave
now when he is gone
there are only memories of the day till noon
I wish I could go back to the summer of 2000

Summer Soulitude

Summer Soulitude short poem

We walk the deserted streets of my city. The scorching hot cement sizzles that transparent vibration that warmth has under the light of day. We go from empty shops to empty museums to empty shops again, staring at blank walls

Beauty In A Summer Breeze

Beauty In A Summer Breeze long poem

Swallowed in dreams of bliss, and sunset berry kisses in the still of azure skies I gaze into your eyes. Your lips, like honey exude strange sweetness as a dream lover’s dream I find you resistless. Soft whispers pant to
