Secrets short poem

At an early age something gone wrong
Secrets were made and more to be found
Those experiences that are supposed to shape your young mind
Still create secrets that will hurt you in time
People who loved you, you have been judged to this day
These things at an early age have left you this way
A life now realized, these secrets are shared
You thought they all loved you, you thought they all cared
You cry and say why and nobody’s there
These people have secrets that will never be shared
These days are different, secrets you don’t dare
Because secrets don’t love and secrets don’t care.

Let’s make a pact today. When you walk along my side again Don’t ask me about what’s stowed away. Dismiss all doubts about what you see no more, And when I stumble upon what you’ve been covering up all along,
