Springtime Is Here

Hear the sound of bees with a buzzing sting,
Of new beginnings and of what’s to bring.
Such vibrant species
Arise from this season we call spring.

Watch the beauty of flowers as they bloom
And you rid yourself from the winter gloom.
Or if you rather,
Spring clean the cobwebs out of your room.

Springtime has arrived once again, alas,
The snow is melting and I see green grass:
And as an added bonus,
To find myself with a well-dressed lass.

But for now,
I stare in silence at a bird which landed
On a nearby baby tree I have just planted.
Isn’t it amazing?!
All of the small things we take for granted?
