Dot Of Life

Dot Of Life short poem

Day comes and night follows
Night goes and day comes
Hours turn into days, days into months
Every day that goes by
Increases our age by days, months and years.
From babies, we grow into young kids
Then teens, followed by youth
Then comes middle age, followed by old age
Is this what life is all about?

We wake up in the morning
And carry out the same actions
day in and day out
The clock turns, the calendar rolls,
Time flies by in a wink of an eye
And one fine day we fall dead
Never to see
The passing of the clock or the rolling of the calendar
Time stands still and life comes full circle
And we remain just a dot,
To be erased any time
In this vast sea of humanity

A grim look at the cycle of life and death with time the master, we fade one day at a time and all the remains is a DOT OF LIFE ? Many a reader would have faced a similar existential question as this verse depicts @Josephine_Fernandes

But ! your writings remain, the words that where in your brain.
I am glad you write you are a positive person so I bet you fill your
life with laughter and colour. I enjoyed reading what I only think
about now and again.
