Grant Me Humanity

when all the success comes my way
when all the fruits come in my tray
when everything happens according to me in the day
oh god! I would just pray
grant me the humanity, don’t let it slay
give me the prowess to stay
even when the evils try to flay
give the courage not to indulge in any fray
with the hearts of people I never play
if anyone needs help ‘yes’ should be what I say
because I want relations of diamond not clay
there is a large sea in the way
what I have crossed is not even a bay
oh god! I would just pray
grant me the humanity, don’t let it slay.

Doing something new is what i love to do. Poetry is one of them. Neither much interested in reading all the poems nor do i have much knowledge about literature. But i write what i think. My heart holds my pen, not my hands. Welcome to the random yet colorful world of shubham.

An Ode For Humanity

An Ode For Humanity short poem

A marble, jostling among the congregation says: I am not so obsolete But am impelled to be desolate For, the ultimate cause of humanity Perished in its serendipity. Defiance and vengeance and malevolence Thrived in conquering this vicinity But humanity-succumbed

The Orchestra And Me

The Orchestra And Me prose poem

I had a dream last night. It was very concise but interesting. Rather revelatory, but not prophetic in the usual way. There was a class with a facilitator encouraging input based on a lesson plan provided to the class. I,
