We Hope

We Hope short poem

We hope for eternity
We hope for relief
We hope for peace
We hope for change

Our hopes shattered
Our hopes shredded
Our hopes shambled
Our hopes shortened

We still hope not to die
We still hope not to ail
We still hope to be calm!
We still hope to be fine

Our hopes resourced
Our hopes reinforced
Our hopes reacquired
Our hopes recovered

The sensation of thick honey Gliding down your throat, Enveloping your tongue in A heavy, smooth numbness that warms your buds, Dissolving into sweet ecstasy. The smell of rain Soaking into parched soil, Tingling your nostrils, Tickling your senses, Encompassing

Hope

What’s life but a phase Before we reach a better place And what you feel in your heart Sometimes we all set apart There are days we are crumbling under And days again When we reach for thunder And when
