To My Friend

To My Friend short poem

To my friend
She glows with a glimmering giggle
that lingers in my mind that surpasses
even fragrance of fair Jasmine
her benign grin, a mark of charity
wins the souls of all in unanimity.

Her abode is a mansion on the hill
a holy domain of vibrant harmony
showers affection to all with disparity nil.
She is like Byron’s “Last Duchess”
stretching soft hands to the lot helpless
dropping tears of pity to the penniless.

She is like a fictional ‘Rosemary ’
gorgeous , fashionable as she likes
hunting quaint antique rich ornaments
from nooks and corners of the world
to match her unique taste to feel elegant.

She is rotund and round ever looks sound
sways on the aisle as swan floats on water

casting amiable looks even at narrow dot
welcoming all flattery through parted rosy lips.
She blooms and beams with lovely simple mind.
She is ever rare and fair
Never to anybody despair
May she flourish forever.

Such goodness is a rarity nowadays, and that too in friends?! Fortunate are the ones who find such friends…Beautifully expressed!
