Through Silence

Through Silence short poem

Silence they say speaks louder than words
Do you really hear me?
Not here, nor there, know not where
But through silence, do you hear me?

Memories tender that I hold so near
some so dear though some not so
Make me wish I could relive them all
Through silence, do you hear me?

Something tells me that if only you knew
you would wipe my tears like only you could
but then wishes are not horses, I know
Through silence, do you hear me?

Frivolous times they seemed like then
But the emptiness that has got left behind
Weighs me down when I think of them
Through silence do you hear me?

I owe no grudge, I cannot grudge
For hide you did, your niceness so
Far beyond the frivolousness
Through silence, do you hear me?

Some may think that this is for me
But I know you know this is for you
So strange the kinship between us
Through silence, do you hear me?

May’ve said rash things I never meant
I wish you luck, I always did
I wish you success, I always did
Through silence hope you hear me.

In Silence

In Silence short poem

It’s here, and then it’s not. That untimely moment that we fear our minds have just ‘forgot’ who we are, and why we’re here. Why did we never reach that bar? We’re no longer our own puppateer. In the past
