Tattoo short poem

Dark,
Cold and shivering is what I feel
To see you
Wrapped in someone’s arms
Would break me
Into a thousand chipped pieces
Never to be completed again

It is with the idea of you
That I get to feel alive,
The idea of a possibility
That makes me jump off of my skin

And I’ll forever be holding
To that idea,
To that possibility,
To that reality I so long dreamed
For relationship vanishes
But ideas remain constant

And you will remain
As a thought in my head
Forever visited and never forgotten
Forever embedded in my soul

Softly butterflies flutter by Your fingers tracing down my spine Chemistry sweet between us two Through it all, eyes say I want you Your fingers tracing down my spine Smoking coals now lead to fire Through it all, eyes say
