Bit By Bit

Bit By Bit short poem

Graze it, raze it or erase it,
Memory eternally frays it,
Past floods me full again,
Of matters of loss and pain
Webs of certain and uncertain,
Entangle to ascertain,
Darkness crowds me alone,
In a moment I must have grown.
Who knows what flaw I seed?
Must have been my misdeed!
I descended a level deep,
In solitude; I did weep!
Who fears of but pain anymore?
Not one who knows of treachery for sure.
Who fears of that dreary past?
Doubts on future that had blindly cast
Who knows when again I break?
Who knows who again does fake?
Trust is false for the jilted heart,
One blow severs it apart.
Bit by bit I try to forget,
Forgive all and never regret.
I restore light in my insipid self,
To shine again with little help
I embark on a journey afresh,
Breaking away from the tangled mesh,
I am God’s reason so I have to be,
Creation desires me resolutely.
Forever by me will be those few,
Time will not stop to add new,
Forever will be this faith in me,
If I am true, so will my world be!

Fearless couplets of declaration. Faith conquers all. Could be faith in love or faith in yourself.

Chompin At The Bit

Chompin At The Bit short poem

A myriad of treasure wealth and pleasure Snagged by the Achille’s tendon Rounded up and Slaughtered for The Golden Apple of his eye Not the divine fruits of Her labor Trust the toss of bones Fall down ashes fall down

My mind is going blank, The heart repeats its mistakes, It goes through heaven’s gate that leads to hell I am feeling like I am wasted, Wasted everyday, The way you left me had no happy ending Living the rest
