Journey To Grave

Journey To Grave short poem

I feel eternal and immortal
as I don’t realise it is my breath
which is keeping me alive

I am not bothered to know
every breath that I am taking
is leading me into my grave

Upon Good I feel happy and ecstatic
little realising the moment is temporary

Upon Bad I feel sad and miserable
thinking I am permanently doomed

I am UNaware and Ignorant that
my success or failures in life
can be carried at most till my grave
and they will ultimately rest in peace
without any trace of Agony or Ecstasy

A wonderful poem yet again from you Ramapriya ji………yes all life’s journey ends to the grave, all achievements, guilt, envy, jealousy enmity everything ends there finally…….making a full stop to everything …….yet all of us live our life…….as if we are immortal……while living we tend to forget that death is inevitable…….nice poem……..enjoyed reading it……….
