You

You short poem

I will think of you
At nights when my heart carries the heavy weight of death
For breathing has no place without a face

And I will think of you
When courage refuses to let disappointments win
And rivers were just a washing of my will

I will think of you…
Though you fear to understand the beauty of life and love
Fighting darkness that snuffed out trust

I will still think of you
With wrinkled hands and a feeble mind
When age has taken youth away

I will think of you…
And maybe, just maybe ,
When you are done over thinking
And your mind is free to roam
You’ll think of me too
