O Girl

O Girl short poem

You might be subjugated,
You might be misunderstood.
Society may slander you-
Don’t get weary of remarks,
Don’t feel heartless!

Because the wise,
Would rise for you.

To protect you,
To help you build a name.
To help you wander,
On the road endlessly-
Without a fear,
Or shame.

To teach the world,
The beauty you bring along.
The love which you spread around,
The laughter you instil in us-
The child you bring out in us.

Life is, by you,
Should be lived for you.
And is nothing,
Without you,
O Girl!
