The Friend I Have!

The Friend I Have! short poem

From where you came, that I never knew
For you are one of the few
You are the light that shines on the darkest night,
Although it’s you with whom I fight,
Repenting my follies, I know a broken glass will never be put back,
I wish the radiant light shines through those cracks

For you, time will stand still
With you, many miles we shall walk
For hours and days will pass by as we talk
Forever, shall a tear not roll down your cheeks

For you, have always been a pillar of support,
Your patience and care, as always remarkable,
Your reassurance is motivating,
Helps me weather the storms
For your genuine words, drive a being like me
It is fun to confide in you and tell you all my stories
Brick by brick building this rapport

For a friend like you comes around only once,
Thankful I am that you were and will be there,
So that you keep smiling and reach greater heights,
There would always be a friend despite our fights!
