If How I

If How I short poem

If I could stay in my space and not walk outside, then live in my head when I go for a ride
If I could close both my eyes and pretend I’m blind, then not see the world when I think about life
If I could walk on my own and not in a group, then think for myself as I look for the truth
If I could sing out of time and not in a march, then hear all the words as I hum through the charge
If I could stand in a room and not see four walls, then build on my span when I’m feeling too small
If I could hear all the words that aren’t really there, then know all the truths that I’m keeping inside
If all this could be and not in a dream, then I could know who it is to be me

Once I dare… Once I dare to write my story, Memories crowded falling me weak… And words played hide and seek. Once I dare to lost in Love, brain went on compulsory leave… Mercifully, I survived of dying dive. Once
