On Hindsight

On Hindsight short poem

Walked we did, and even talked
Feeling that the path was same
No object nor purpose ever blocked
Till one day with none to blame
We realised the parallel paths.

I could see the world like you
No questions asked, thought I knew
Imprints though they differed so
In how you saw and how I saw
So different as the many hue.

You saw rule
Not me that school.
You saw patterns
Was I from Saturn?
Surrendered you to what you saw
As I simply yearned to see that law.

Passed us by our lives they did
Questions many unanswered.
“Was it destiny?
Or “Our choice?”
Many more questions there may lie
Even as they petered by and by.
