Life: A Sea

Life: A Sea short poem

Photo by chrisf608

Life is so much like a ship in a stormy sea,
Always dicey and hard.
You have to become a smart sailor,
In order to make your way through those thunderous yet subtle waves.

It checks you time and again,
Never really slow to give you pain.
All so that you become a man,
Who will survive destiny’s hardest plan.

It only takes guts to face it,
Those who have the confidence
to tackle life’s struggle,
Surely does life favour them.
But never should a man relax ,
For the moment he thinks he can;
Is the time when the sea of life swipes the sand beneath his feet.
Leaving him hollow and meak!
Preparing him for another fight against the raging waves,
To enchain his fears in the deepest darkest caves.

For all that life has given,
Can never be without a purpose.
You have come to sail your way;
Through this sea,
Only to reach your ultimate goal, the Ocean.
Where you shall finally rest in peace.

Sea Monkeys

Sea Monkeys short poem

Everything we know, or think we know, comes from an infinitesimal speck of time and space. “Important” people, just random specks of insignificance. Nothing more than Sea Monkeys, fluttering around Sea Monkey world. Everything spoken as truth only reinforces ignorance.
