Beneath A Double Rainbow

Beneath A Double Rainbow short poem

High in the Cascade Mountain Range, camped in a wilderness cathedral.
Overlooking a vast expanse of wilderness, only meters back from the edge of a sheer precipice.
Admiring the shear beauty of a brilliant double rainbow, bridging this vast void.
A gentle, crisp breeze, driving a light fog embankment over a saturated alpine landscape.
One end of this prolific rainbow is encompassed in the roving fog embankment,
creating a pallet of subdued color.
Beneath this double rainbow, a gentle drizzle continues falling on the drenched alpine flora and fauna. Creating a wilderness maze of sheer eloquent beauty.
The gracefulness of Nature’s golden globe gleefully climbing above the far horizon
turning the yellow in the double rainbow into gold.
Reflecting Nature’s peace and true serenity.
Meditating from within a wilderness cathedral, beneath a double rainbow.
Oh! The refreshing solitude of Nature. Truly expressing the joys of Creation.
The yellows, mauves, blues and greens of this double rainbow gracefully blended together
reflecting Nature’s tapestry. Crafted by the Grand Master of Creation.
From the far side of the chasm, on a lush alpine carpeted meadow;
the rolling lonesome bugle of a bull elk reverberates out across the base of this double rainbow,
emphasizing the sound of music. Naturally! With the sound of water splashing down the rock faced embankment, gracefully blended with the bugling bull elk.
The sounds of Nature, beneath a double rainbow.
