Conflict With God

I may not be aware of what Life has taught me
but one thing is sure God teaches me every moment I live

I curse the almighty for all the injustice he has done to me
But I do go to temple to seek forgiveness from him for the injustice I have done to others

I feel I deserve all the accolades that is legitimately due to me
But I pray God to make me worthy to get accolades

I always feel I am a force to reckon with
while I pray I be made a force to reckon with

I know I can’t deceive the almighty by false prayers
But I do deceive myself by trying to please the almighty

God knows what I should not get
But I feel He can be coaxed to give in

I pray the God when I am in need
God knows what he should give me for my deed

Ramapriya ji once again a wonderful poem on the hard fact why one prays, and when one prays………wonderfully written……we know deep within our heart God knows what best for us…..yet we pray to him to give us more and more……..and try to please HIM by whatever ways and means we can…….somewhere I had read “Dont pray to God, HE doesnt need your prayer, HE always gives what is best for you” but knowing all this we still pray to please him……….thats the human nature……….liked your poem……a thought provoking one
