The Attitudes

The Attitudes short poem

Treating wife as a lover makes life so romantic
Treating children like friends brings parents so close

Worshipping parents like God makes life so sacred
Treating friends as siblings make the relationship so special

Taking care of the sick and destitute gives so much solace
Feeding the hungry beggar to the brim make him bless wholeheartedly

Helping the needy and downtrodden gives us so
much satisfaction
Forgiving the person, who has deceived you;
bring so much peace of mind

Sharing one’s sorrow and giving one’s happiness
make life so much complete
Treating the people – irrespective of their
religion, cast, creed and language – as single
entity makes our life so worthy of existence

Nice poem:)

Savi Mani

a wonderful poem………how i wish human heart follows the traits you wrote in your poem Ramapriyaji…….I specially liked “Forgiving the person, who has deceived you; bring so much peace of mind” yes it needs a big heart to do so but once done it gives great relief to the mind ……if only our world would have been above caste, creed and religion……..the world would have been a better place to live………alas all we see are selfish people who care for themselves only and none for others……….
lovely thoughts shared in your poem……
