Yandere

Yandere short poem

Love’s a funny thing.
The day I met him,
I knew that he was the one,
I knew that I wanted to be with him.

I wanted to be with him.
That’s where the problems started.
Problems called “other girls”.
I simply cannot allow this.

She’s getting a bit too close.
I should probably take some precautions.
She needs to get out for the picture.
So I’ll make her.

Nobody else can have him.
Nobody else is allowed.
It’s a capital crime against my personal law,
And I am its enforcer.

Savour that pretty smile, succubus.
And that conniving laugh of yours.
Because soon there will be no more laughter.
Or noise at all, for that matter.

Would you do anything for him?
Because I would give my life for him.
Or someone else’s.

My muse is like an excitable dog. It catches sight of totally random things and starts yapping and running around and wagging its tail and WILL NOT STOP until I write a poem about it.My poetry is sometimes based on personal experience and sometimes on other things. Aside from that, I enjoy video games (My favourite game series is Mass Effect) and the popular television show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
