Unknown Friends

Unknown Friends short poem

Never we had a chance
To see face to face
Never we had a chance
To sit and talk side by side
We live under the same moon
We share the same sunshine
Still we are from different places.
Though we all are very far
Though we never met each other
Its amazing, we share our thoughts in one place
On the nest of poetry
We became friends through
The words that reveal the pain
And through words of hopes and dreams.
My friends are incredible in their writings.
Reading their poems is a sheer delight.
Their words give me strength and hope
And they bring an inspiration to my write
I am mesmerized by each words they write
Beyond the distance
I feel complete when I read their poems
There is silence in every second
When I miss their beautiful words.
Every morning I open my eyes
With a new hope
To see the new faces of my friends.

I was working as the head teacher of a high school for many years.I have written many poems in English, Urdu and Malayalam. But i never had the confidence to bring it to the public .Better to say, i never tried for it due to lack of confidence. Now i got a platform to bring myself forward. Thanks to the editorial board of high on poems.I enjoy reading and writing.

Wow so beautifuly poem dear Ammu………..loved each and every word of it……..we being thousands of miles apart from each other, sharing the same moon, the same sun..not having seen each other…..yet the one thing which is the binding factor is the wonderful poems from friends like you and others…each and every poem a jewel in the crown of poetry……..
this is exactly i feel too an invisible binding ………….a kind of closeness……..a kind of reading other friends thoughts via their poems…….often when i dont write i sit quietly and read some of the great work here and feel good…..thank you so much Ammu dear for your so wonderful thoughts………your thoughts perhaps are ours too………

You write extremely well and deep insights and inspiring work Mam!
