Forgiven

Can you hear me inside your mind crying out for comfort
Can you hear me screaming, crying, beating my fists
Can you hear me inside your mind desperate for a voice
Can you hear me, Can you hear me ! if not .. why ?

Why can’t you hear me when I’m calling your name
Why can’t you hear me I’m screaming, crying, my fists are bleeding
Why can’t you hear me when all I want is to speak
Why can’t you hear me, Why can’t you hear me ! did you choose ?

Did you choose not to hear me calling your name for comfort
Did you choose not to hear me scream, cry as the blood pours from my fists
Did you choose not to hear me, afraid to hear me speak out
Did you choose not to hear me, Did you choose not to hear me ! is it your choice ?

Is it your choice not to hear me, is that what you believe ?
Is it your choice not to hear me or see the blood red lines appear in your eyes
Is it your choice not to hear me when I speak of my pain
Is it your choice not to hear me, you believe you have a choice ! do you believe ?

My voice is loud, my will is strong, my fight bears the pain
No blood will stop me, no silence will control me, you will hear me
As I grow louder and stronger, the rage inside you crashes against your heart
Waves can only compare with the strength I have mustered ! you will hear me !

And on that day when my voice has broken you will hang your head in shame
You will feel the despair deep within you as I have all this time
Yet I will not hate you nor let the pain take over as I see you small and withered.
You will hear me as I take your hand and whisper “I forgive you!”

Forgiven Love

Forgiven Love short poem

The blank page grinned at my emptiness.. Tears fell creating bluish islands… As my hand moved, the page bled hiding white spots; the remains of our love… Each droplet fading away to gloom; devoid of emotions.. I tried moving my
