Elope With Me

Elope With Me short poem

I came into the city at a young age
and strive for the dream which has no stage
There is a pretty girl around me who
is so sincere and kind that I wanna woo

In this familiar city, I exile myself year after year
Through the ups and downs, I just fight for the freedom
In this cold city, you are my only sunshine, dear
keeping my heart warm and lighting my way clear

It is until now that I realize,
what attracts me most is nothing but true love
Just wanna elope with you to a remote town
and lead a happy life by no one to be found

Don’t be sad because I see a great chance
if you are still brave to leave with me once
Just wanna elope with you to a remote town
and lead to a happy life by no one to be found

Hi, everyone. I am a Chinese. Actually I am a major in bioengineering, but I developed a hobby of reading and writing English poems when I was in college. I got to know highonpoems by chance on twitter, it's a marvellous website for me and my like.

I had a dream last night. It was very concise but interesting. Rather revelatory, but not prophetic in the usual way. There was a class with a facilitator encouraging input based on a lesson plan provided to the class. I,
