Enlightenment

Enlightenment short poem

This is my moment of…
Reminiscence, reckoning, recognition
Of things
I had wished for
Hoped for, dreamed of…
They unfold themselves one by one
Like blooming buds under the sun

This is my moment of…
Recall, recognizance, realization
Of things
I had desired
Stood for, thought of
They unravel themselves in many hues
Like lilac, yellow, red and blue

This is my moment of…
Revelation, remembrance, rediscovery
Of things
I had imagined
Felt for, knew of
They present themselves in an array
Like a fragrant bouquet

This is my moment of…
Rejoice, respect, resolution
Of things
I will want
Live for, learn of
They come together like a dance
And I know I’ve got a second chance

The Enlightenment

The Enlightenment short poem

I thought I would cry but I didn’t At you in a daze I stare bidding the last farewell Day and night remains the pains of vanished love Isn’t it an enlightenment, through which I know myself so well I
