Deceived Woman

Deceived Woman short poem

you always said “we’re meant to be”
forgot to say “love is not free”
I was the shadow of your sins
you broke my heart without tears

in every man I found you
it sounds awful, but it was true
you didn’t want to implicate yourself
you coming off as innocent

my life was an adventure for the two of us
but why I felt sorry for disappointment in your eyes
I carved your name so deep inside
I carved your name losing my mind
