My Angel!!!

My Angel!!! short poem

It takes time to understand the word light,
I saw you and I knew why the day was bright.
One look at you and I forgot my plight
‘Cause you are my angel tonight!
I prayed to God for peace inside,
There were days which were darker than night.
But one look at you is sheer delight,
‘Cause you are my angel tonight!
The chaotic world, just seems alright,
Survival doesn’t feel like a fight.
My heart’s chambers now seem alight,
‘Cause you are my angel tonight!
In my arms I hold you tight,
I promise to guard you with all my might.
You are my strength, you are my light,
My angel … you shine & make my life so bright!!!

The first time I did so , my story was selected by Penguin Publishers and Mrs Sudha Murty and published in an anthology "Something Happened on the Way to Heaven". This encouraged me to share my works further. So here I am ...

My Fault short poem

Your genome was climbing down. I hate to count the steps. Feathers hurt sometimes after the end of flying. How far was the moment of dust? You were still swimming in saline water. A collective guilt will pay the price.
