All Things That Bloom To Grief

All Things That Bloom To Grief short poem

Ain’t it a paradise when you see,
all things beautiful, white and grey?
When the melodies of life lit up in glee,
all things surreal painted in this air.

Ain’t it a heaven as you crawl and beckon,
the white cluster of emotions stay forever.
When the hues go astray, aloof, alone.
in the sky, so ethereal..oh! the redeemer.

Ain’t it my heart what you feel,
all things remain a silent dream, and me!
When the pale thought shadows to heal,
all things that bloom to grief, in fallen destiny.

I am currently a Doctorate in Linguistics from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya (India). I was born on 2nd November, 1983 in my hometown, Haflong, in Assam (India). Haflong is in the lap of nature and the beautiful Barail mountains have always inspired me to dream and write. I wrote my first poem 'roses' when I was 10 years old though I lost that piece as a young child. I have been writing several poems since then as a young girl and a confused teenager, but very few though more meaningful ones, as of now. Shillong with its scenic beauty keeps me engrossed with photography, fun with friends, social activities and a little time for poetry amidst the hectic research schedules. My poetry themes vary from nature to ambitions, from self questions to relationships. My other favorite pastimes include, writing short stories and quotations, trekking, shopping, sketching, travel and many others. I do not know what future brings in, with poetry for me, but it's something I love doing when I'm best left with, all by myself and my world of emotions.

Pain and sorrow lurk so convincingly in this beautifully penned poem..

A beautiful piece; the metaphors and emotions aptly display the feelings when we are drunk with love and happiness, and the pain and sorrow when these are gone.

Clumsy Hands And Brittle Things short poem

I have solely turned this creation into mess, becoming a cause for frustration and moments of distress, resulting from price tags and use of over-inked cheques, and also from partaking in acts of repeated carelessness, It’s safe to say that
