The Perfect Love

The Perfect Love short poem

What is the Perfect Love?
Is it your love for someone?
Or someone’s love for you?

Can this Love ever be measured?
Or is it only to be treasured?

Who loves me the most?
Is it my Daddy, my Mommy,
My brother, my sister
My friends or my fiancé?

The search for the Perfect Love was on,
Till I found the Love I was looking for…
The love of my Saviour,
My Lord Jesus Christ

The more I try to measure His Love
The more it increases.
His love has no limits.
No barriers.

His Love is so abundant
That he gave his life for me
So that I might be saved from
The ugly word of darkness.

He brought light into my life.
And brought meaning to my dull dark life

He sent me the best of people to express his love for me.
My Daddy, my Mommy
My brother, my sister
My friends or my fiancé
My teacher, my boss

Each morning is a new beginning with my Lord
Each day He sets aside new surprises for me.

At times I fear this Love would end someday
But He has promised that steadfast love would never cease
And His mercies would never come to an end.

That’s My Perfect Love!

Fail In Love

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.

Please take my hand, for I am blind. I’ve lost my path and my sense of touch. I’ve fallen, for my hands and feet are behind. Please let me hear, for all is in a hush. My wrist and ankles
