False Paradise

False Paradise short poem

If time is gold, I rank among the rich,
Much time I have, nobody bothers me,
No school, no chores, all leisure without hitch,
Untied with work, from obligations, free;

Think you, that seems unwise,
A life given to play;
Labor, none to despise,
And in mirth, there to stay;

My world, a virtual playground in the sun,
A moonlit getaway during the night,
A total haven of none to be done,
A paradise of graven art delight;

But no dream on which to embark,
For the poor statue in the park.

♪ ♫ Well, I guess, it could be said that if my knowledge and wisdom were converted to wealth, I may humbly say, in all honesty, that I am not a millionaire. But if out of my two cents, you would agree to accept one of it, then, I could proudly say, in all modesty, that I have done charity.♥

A tongue in cheek verse about those who dreams of idyllic days with no work and just to stand and gaze at the world around, written through the eyes of a statue in the park but so true for all those who desire such a False Paradise ..Wonderful @Reyvrex_Reyes!
