The Land Of Sunsets

The Land Of Sunsets short poem

Time goes by.
As slowly as a grain of sand.
Excruciatingly so, as I lie
Awaiting you to understand.

The colours filling the horizon,
Are not just pretty sights.
To some they are,
The path of dream lights.

To some it comes easy,
The unattained glory.
Yet some others,
Their details are gory.

They will get there.
As it is set in their sight.
Now, as they lay bare.
With nothing but insight.

The land of ends, sunsets.
Is mankind’s pursuit.
Fulfilling all desires, debts.
There lay a sole route.

Determination and dreaming
The worker’s crutch sets.
Innovation and learning,
Make appear the land of sunsets.
