Near To You, Still Far Apart

Near To You, Still Far Apart short poem

The pain still looms
you have drifted away
like clouds in vast sky
still I can feel your touch

You are near to me still so far
like a butterfly carried in strong winds
memories etched in my heart
cannot be erased

Your warmth that is infused in me
I can feel your breath
fragrance of your perfume still lingers
my fingers always feel your skin and
feel like sailing deep in your eyes
It takes a long time to heal
I long to touch your contours
I am like a blind man tumbling in day light
