Enduring Love

Enduring Love short poem

What is enduring love? Thought she
And does it exist for such as me
Is this the greatest GIFT to give
That makes hearts sing and spirits lift
Enduring love, survives all pain
Thriving like a flower in summer’s rain
It’s when at night we toss and turn
Words spoken in haste churn in the mind
It’s knowing that you can’t let go
And that through the pain love still does grow
That just to see that simple smile
Made the heartache all worthwhile
It’s knowing that you can forgive
For without each other, you cannot live
It’s knowing that each lesson learned
Takes you closer to that love you yearn
It’s knowing that no path is smooth
For each of us has much to prove
But when together, hand in hand
All challenges we can with stand
Enduring love, oh can it be
That it exists for such as ‘me’?

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.
