Dreams

Dreams short poem

I wish to be a crowned King,
Having words of wisdom..
A reign of peace,
With sky as my kingdom…

If I Wanted colors to play,
I would suck the rainbows dry…
Change what is accepted,
Mock it with the humour so wry….

I wish to relive my glory days,
Avoid this life, a vicious trap….
I wish to revisit, my childhood,
The joy I felt in my mother’s lap….

I wish to see my father in his prime,
Meet someone again for the first time…
Everything comes at a price, they say
I Want to buy happiness for a dime.

With clouds as my stepping stones,
I wish to reach for the star..
For in my dream world ,
No destination is afar…
