Friend short poem

You personify the strength
Upon which I lay
My crumbling hope for life
To find that ray of hope

It’s your mere presence
That makes me feel
My world will never end
With you around

When I lose the sight
To my path
You come as remembrance
Of what I aspire in life

It is you who sends
Your strength my way
When I need it the most
Without you friend, I would be forever lost
